Under the Forbidden Culture Week, in collaboration with Malmö City Library and artists from Malmö Theater Academy, the iconic Buddha statues of Bamiyan were projected onto the library’s facade.

This powerful projection was more than an image—it was an evening of solidarity, a tribute to erased cultural heritage, and an artistic act of resistance. The event featured storytelling, music, and dance as a creative response to oppression.
